Only you can decide if it's worth paying the extra money for wider screen. Currently the XL version of the TomTom One is going for around £30 more than the evivelent non-widescreen version.

It arrived quickly and fitted perfectly. I've only used it twice but it worked very well. I'm amazed at the price! If its still going in a year's time, and does no harm to my Tom Tom, I shall change my "like this item" to "love this item".

I was very impressed with this case as i had previously bought a tom tom case and found it to be of lesser quality. It has two compartments, one for the charger and mount and the other for your tom tom which has a protector for your screen which is very handy. It is very good quality for the money and i would definately recommend this case.

As I am a bit of a technophobe and have the simplest mobile phone on the market I needed a satnav that was also extremely simple to operate but with all the requirements necessary to get me from A to B when needed. I bought this wide screen Sat Nav and found that the on screen text providing street name information appeared to be about a third smaller than on my earlier smaller model. I compared them side by side. Also, the wide screen didn't mean better definition, just more area not used properly.
